EBMT has held a council at Hamburg in Germany on June 28th, and the decision of establishing its Chinese office in Europe- China Platform had been approved during the meeting. As it is the first international- famous medical association settled up in Europe-China Platform which will promote the high level exchanges and cooperation in hematology and produce active and deep impact on it.

The exchange meeting of young and middle-aged hematology physicians in Shanghai, jointly held by sanofi and ,Merck & Co., Inc was held in fa-zhongping. Professor li junmin, director of the hematology department of Ruijin Hospital, and professor hu jiong, deputy director and member of the global committee of EBMT attended the meeting and explained the cases of acute myeloid leukemia M4 and mucor root infection mentioned in the meeting. During the meeting, Hu Jiong proposed a prospective case cohort study of ascending ladder therapy for prevention of invasive fungal diseases after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Professor Liu Shiyuan, the chairman-elect of Chinese Society of Radiology and famous imaging expert, visited France-China Platform. Mr. Zheng Yi introduced the construction and mission of France-China Platform to professor Liu, including the idea of supporting and promoting academic and scientific research exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and French radiology. Professor Liu said it is important to improve the sino-french communication and cooperation in the field of imaging, and further research should be carried out on a pragmatic and in-depth mechanism of communication, including the interaction and training of young doctors. Professor Liu hoped that France-China Platform could contribute to the development of sino-french medicine and medical technology cooperation.
